Rare collection of firefighting equipment and memorabilia is displayed here. Included is one of Canada's oldest steam pumpers, an 1863 Amoskeag; examples of almost every type of fire engine ever used in Nova Scotia. Sweeney Museum
A collection of artifacts from companies owned by the late Laurence Sweeney that represent the fishing industry of Yarmouth many years ago. Onsite you will find five replicated buildings, reception/display area, 18.5-m (60-ft) trawler, 30-m (100-ft) wharf. Most displays are made of salvage materials from Yarmouth waterfront, designed to give visitors the feeling of a working fishing dock. Admission is charged; open May 24 October 15;
